Current main work focus:
Teaching and researching leadership in organizations and leadership development. Special interest: How communication and culture influence leadership phenomena.

Dr. Arnulf has since 2006 been teaching leadership development to more than 600 young Chinese managers at the MBA-program offered in Shanghai in co-operation between Norwegian School of Management (BI) and the Fudan-university of Shanghai, China. He has since 2008 been the associate dean of this program.
Dr. Arnulf holds a position as associate professor on the Norwegian School of Management (BI) in Oslo, where he teaches leadership, organizational behavior and counselling. He is a certified industrial/organizational psychologist, being a member of both the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Norwegian Psychological Association (NPF). He is also a member of the Norwegian association of professional writers and translators.
Dr. Arnulf submitted his thesis on the relationship between reflection in management teams and organizational change at the University of Oslo in 2005. Before joining BI, he has been working as a management consultant to both private and governmental organizations, working with change projects and general organizational development. He is still acting as advisor to international corporations on leadership development issues as well as being a coach to individual executives. He has also managerial experience from private and governmentally owned developmental services. His publications span topics from organizational learning to leadership development.
Dr. Arnulf obtained his master of science degree in psychology from the Free University in Berlin, Germany, and at the University of Oslo.
