Innovation: this is how Hilti started back in 1941. Out of
a garage, Martin Hilti and his brother Eugen founded a mechanical workshop in
Schaan, Liechtenstein, initially employing five employees. In their attempt to
find a proprietary product line, the two brothers came to know the powder
fastening technology and developed the DX 100 that could shoot nails into
concrete and steel. This product revolutionized the construction industry. 70
years later, the DX 460 is the market and technology leader. And, all along
these 70 years, Hilti brought many innovations: drilling machines using the
electropneumatic principle; fastening technology using chemical components;
coring technology using diamonds... Hilti looks for bright people who will take
up the innovation to the next level!

included the analysis of more than 60 companies, Hilti was selected, from
among finalists BMW and Novo Nordisk from Norway, to receive the Carl
Bertelsmann prize for excellence in corporate culture. At the base of our
